We use your information to: deliver our services (feasibility checks, license applications, HOT filings, renewals), communicate with you about your compliance status and deadlines, process payments through Stripe, submit required documents to the City of Austin on your behalf, and maintain business records. We do not sell your personal information under any circumstances.
All payments are processed by Stripe. Clearhost does not store your full credit card number or CVV. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share your information only with: the City of Austin (as required to submit your application and HOT reports), trusted service providers who assist in our operations (DocuSign, Stripe, Google Workspace), and as required by law. All service providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential.
We retain your personal information for a minimum of four (4) years following termination of your service agreement, or longer if required by law. After the applicable retention period your information will be securely deleted or anonymized.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information including password-protected file access, encrypted communications where applicable, and secure cloud storage via Google Workspace. No method of electronic transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
